Copeland Tucker serves as the Director of Public Affairs at the NHA, helping to promote the work of the organization throughout the media and inform and inspire new audiences about the hydropower industry. He brings many years of experience in communications and public affairs, serving on Capitol Hill for clean energy champions, as well as in the public relations world, where he advised consulting giant, Accenture, on promoting its energy transition research.
He grew up in Newnan, GA, a suburb of Atlanta, and attended the University of Georgia. There, he earned degrees in political science and broadcast journalism, as well as a master’s degree in public administration (MPA).
Copeland resides in the DuPont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC, where he enjoys fitness, exploring the nation’s capital with friends, travel, and being a plant dad.
