Connor Nelson is NHA’s new Regulatory and Market Affairs Specialist. Connor graduated from George Mason University, where he received a bachelor’s in Government and International Politics with a concentration in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Connor continued his studies at George Mason, recently earning a Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in Climate and Energy Policy.
During his studies, Connor worked as an intern in the House of Representatives and, later, in the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). At DOT, Connor helped implement the Department’s sustainability plan to reduce agency emissions and improve energy efficiency, focusing primarily on zero-emissions vehicles and climate hazard mitigation.
Connor currently lives in the Delaware-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) area, but he is originally from Orlando, Florida. Connor enjoys producing music, coaching rowing, traveling, and maintaining his garden.
